Col. Ramon Arguelles Limjoco Founded the first Batangas Chamber of Commerce in Batangas Province in about 1964. He was born in Batangas and raised by his Philanthropic father, the prominent Dr. Gregorio Limjoco Sr. who established the first Batangas Ice Plant in the 1930’s, and his mother Felicidad Arguelles Limjoco, who was the daughter of Governor Jose Arguelles.
They instilled into him civic and community responsibilities, which to this day at the ripe age of 86, he still practices.
He has since gone on to receive many humanitarian awards for his vision and philanthropy.
