BPCCI is a non-stock, non-profit and non-political membership organization which actively promotes and upholds the economic interests of businessmen and entrepreneurs in Batangas engaged in manufacturing, trade, commerce, industry, agriculture and services.
BPCCI aims to foster closer relations, understanding and cooperation among the different sectors of the local economy by unifying them into a strong and solid organization for the better enhancement of economic growth and development in Batangas.
Since 1978, by virtue of Letter of Instruction No. 780, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been recognized as the “sole official representative and voice of the entire private business community.” LOI 780 further states: “ in the pursuit of its lofty objective, PCCI deserves the encouragement, assistance and support of the Government.”
BPCCI is the local Chamber affiliated with PCCI.

Batangas Province will celebrate its 429th Foundation Week Dec. 3-8, 2010 in Lipa City. Trade Fair and Exhibits at SM Lipa City Parking Area, Mutya ng Batangan Beauty Pageant, mini-band competition, cultural shows, street dancing, and more. Lipa City is also famous for religious pilgrimages. This is a pet project of Gov. Rosa Vilma Santos Recto and the Sanggunian Tourism Committee chaired by Vice-Gov. Mark Leviste with Christopher "Boyet" de Leon as Vice-Chairman. The Chamber of Commerce will come out with its annual publication featuring member companies in a handbook /directory of resorts, venues, tourism-related businesses which will be given FREE to stakeholders, LGU Officials, schools, businessmen, entrepreneurs.
